La Città dei 15 Minuti: un modello di sostenibilità urbana. Alcuni spunti per Bari e Taranto

Abstract


Negli ultimi anni, il concetto di Città dei 15 Minuti di Carlos Moreno ha guadagnato sempre più importanza, mirando a migliorare la vita urbana attraverso la riconnessione delle persone con il territorio. La Città dei 15 Minuti promuove una visione innovativa, spingendo verso città più inclusive e sostenibili. Numerose città globali stanno abbracciando questo concetto, offrendo una direzione per città più sostenibili e orientate al cittadino. Questo studio presenta alcuni casi virtuosi di città in transizione e si concentra poi su Bari e Taranto, città pugliesi con sfide uniche. L'articolo si propone di presentare alcune proposte di implementazione per queste due città. La collaborazione tra livelli di governo e la partecipazione dei cittadini è essenziale per trasformare questa visione in realtà, puntando a una migliore qualità della vita.

 

In recent years, Carlos Moreno's ‘15 Minute City’ concept has gained more and more importance, aiming to improve urban life through connecting people with the territory. The 15 Minute City promotes an innovative vision, pushing towards more inclusive and sustainable cities. Numerous global cities are embracing this concept, offering a path to more sustainable and citizen-focused cities. This study presents some virtuous cases of cities in transition and then focuses on Bari and Taranto, Apulian cities with unique challenges. The article aims to present some implementation proposals for these two cities. Collaboration between levels of government and citizen participation is essential to transform this vision into reality, aiming for a better quality of life.
