Marco Pedroni is Associate Professor of Sociology of Culture and Communication at the University of Ferrara (Italy). He is the author of Coolhunting (FrancoAngeli, 2010), co-editor of Moda e arte (Fashion and Art, FrancoAngeli, 2012) and Fashion Tales: Feeding the Imaginary (Peter Lang, 2017), and editor of From Production to Consumption: The Cultural Industry of Fashion (Interdisciplinary, 2013). He is co-editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Fashion Studies. His works have been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Fashion Theory, Poetics and Film, Fashion and Consumption. His research interests range from the cultural industry of fashion to digital media.
Marco Pedroni è Professore Associato di Sociologia dei processi culturali e comunicativi presso l’Università di Ferrara. Tra i suoi libri, Coolhunting: genesi di una pratica professionale erotica (FrancoAngeli, 2010), Fenomenologia dei social network (con G. Boccia Artieri et al., Guerini, 2017) e le curatele Moda e arte (con P. Volonté, FrancoAngeli, 2012), Fashion Tales: Feeding the Imaginary (con E. Mora, Peter Lang, 2017) e From Production to Consumption: The Cultural Industry of Fashion (Interdisciplinary, 2013). È co-editor in chief dell’International Journal of Fashion Studies. I suoi lavori sono stati pubblicati su riviste quali Fashion Theory, Poetics and Film, Fashion and Consumption. I suoi interessi di ricerca si concentrano sull’industria culturale della moda e i media digitali.
