Abstract

Candica (Platysenta) europaea N. SP. (Lepidoptera-Noctuidae), A NEW GENUS FOR EUROPE. (CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF LEPIDOPTERA IN SOUTHERN ITALY. VII)

Candica (Platysenta) europaea n. sp. is described and figurated on a specimen collected in a characteristic biotope near Rossano (Calabria).

It's the first record of the genus Candica Wlk. for Italy and Europe.
