Researchers submitting their papers for publication should write to: futuroclassico.cirst@uniba.it
For the acceptance of contributions «FuturoClassico» follows the international model of double-blind peer review. The author sends the editor two files, with his or her curriculum and with the contribution, which should not contain any indication of his or her identity (Come assicurare una revisione cieca). A member of the editorial board who has the appropriate competence makes an initial evaluation. The editor verifies the relevance of the contribution to the policy of the journal, makes an initial judgment on originality, and then identifies one or two external persons willing to act as anonymous referees. Once the author has implemented any changes suggested by the external referees and the contribution is finally accepted, its consistency with the editorial norms of the journal is verified. The norms are accessible via a dedicated link (Criteri redazionali). At the end of the year, the list of those who have offered their work as external referees appears on the journal’s website. A list of the names of the editors who have in fact handled one or more contributions during the year also appears.
We expect to define themes on which calls for papers will be announced. In this case we shall establish deadlines within which to send contributions. These will be evaluated by an editor chosen according to the particular theme. Such a group of contributions may serve as the theme of a whole volume or of a part of it.
Although publication is electronic and no form of print is planned, print on demand for entire volumes will be available, upon request and subsequent payment by those interested.
With regard to intellectual property rights, the relationship between the authors and the journal is set to favor the widest possible dissemination of scholarly knowledge. With the understanding that the journal publishes original contributions, authors may reuse them after their publication in «FuturoClassico» upon written request to the editor, provided that they duly acknowledge the origin of the contribution and the authorization that has been granted.
The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
