Abstract

This essay aims to highlight a “theory of education” in Gramsci’s work. Although none of the “Quaderni del carcere” focuses on this subject, a large number of notes refers to the theme of education. The approach is comparative, because compares the Gentile’s Reform and the Gelmini’s Reform with the Gramsci’s point of view, which is much more democratic and considers the education system like one of the most important factors in making a radical political change.
