L’interculturel en langue: une analyse des définitions à partir d’un corpus ad hoc

This article presents some findings from research conducted within the international ICARET project, aimed at deepening the understanding of “interculturality.” Drawing on INTERC, an ad hoc corpus that we established to analyze the linguistic and conceptual usage of INTERCULTUREL, INTERCULTURALITÉ, and other related terms, we compare some recent specialized definitions with UNESCO’s, highlighting points of convergence, a more pragmatic approach, and new avenues for research.
Cet article présente certains résultats d’une recherche menée dans le cadre du projet international ICARET, visant à approfondir la compréhension de « l’interculturel ». En nous appuyant sur INTERC, un corpus ad hoc que nous avons établi pour analyser l’usage linguistique et conceptuel d’INTERCULTUREL, d’INTERCULTURALITÉ et d’autres termes connexes, nous comparons certaines définitions spécialisées récentes à celle de l’UNESCO, mettant en évidence des convergences, une approche plus pragmatique et de nouvelles pistes de recherche.
