Les questions de contexte dans la traduction automatique

The Machine Translation (MT) used by language mediation students poses problems in terms of context. This contribution aims to analyse its implementation into the teaching of French from B1+ level. Crucially, the research attempt is to investigate the advantages and disadvantages of using MT, along with the importance of human intervention in identifying translation errors due to misinterpretation of the context and the cultural competence in the target language.
La TA utilisée par les étudiants en médiation linguistique, pose des problèmes au niveau du contexte. Cette contribution propose d'analyser son intégration dans l'enseignement du français à partir du niveau B1+ afin d’en mettre en évidence les avantages et les inconvénients, l'importance de l’intervention humaine dans l'identification des erreurs de traduction dues à une mauvaise interprétation du contexte, et l'amélioration de la connaissance de la dimension culturelle de la langue cible.
